Andrea Brownell


Andi Brownell joined Development Advisors (DAI) in 2015 to provide site selection, incentives negotiation and incentives compliance services for various industries including manufacturing, distribution, office, HQ and real estate development.

She has over 20 years experience helping clients secure business incentives such as property tax abatements, sales and use tax abatements, state and local business development grants, infrastructure grants, utility related incentives and training incentives.

Andi has assisted several Southeastern states evaluate their current incentives packages and has provided information and recommendations to help improve the states’ economic development competitiveness.

Prior to joining DAI, Andi was a member of a Big 4 and Big 5 public accounting firms’ State and Local Tax Credits and Incentives practices for 13 years. She also worked as an Incentives & Grants Management manager for a Fortune 500 company and has several years of state economic development experience with the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
