Development Advisors, LLC was proud to be a sponsor of the Charlotte World Trade Association's recent presentation on business with Canada by current Consul General of Canada Louise Blais.  Canada is North Carolina’s top trading partner, exceeding $10 billion in bilateral trading in 2014.  North Carolina has the lead in the exchange, exporting $6.7 billion to Canada annually. In the state, 247,500 jobs depend on trade and investment with Canada.

 Consul General Blais spent time in the Charlotte region visiting Canadian-based businesses including shipping company Purolator, paper manufacturer Domtar in Fort Mill, and manufacturer Eclipse Automation.

 Development Advisors is currently working with several Canadian firms and has been coordinating their site selection and expansion plans in several states.
